EMC’s Green Effort covers a wide range of programs and activities ranging from LEED new construction to LEED existing building renovations through Energy Star evaluations. Our goal is to be a part of the team with our customers to:
- Reduce costs – initial and operating
- Demonstrate green stewardship
- Utilize strategic energy management
EMC has the expertise clients rely on to manage operational costs even as energy costs continue to rise. We are experts in many facets of the HVAC industry: air conditioning, heating, plumbing, refrigeration, energy management systems, and indoor air quality. We use the latest technology to evaluate, analyze, and provide the most energy efficient and cost effective solutions as part of our EMC Green Effort for customers. Our new Utility Benchmark Analysis System enables us to measure building system performance and determine energy savings. It’s a key component in helping us and our clients to alien their facilities performance with that of the Energy Star national program.
EMC’s Green Effort experience has included numerous LEED NC (new construction), LEED EB (existing building), and Energy Start efforts. We have the ability to be part of the team effort beginning with design assistance, preliminary budgeting, final pricing, construction, commissioning and continuing through the life of the facility by providing the service / maintenance. Our wide range of construction and renovation includes churches, schools, retail facilities, and military installations.
